The Faculty of Agriculture, Environment & Sustainability studies the coupled human-natural systems that feed the world and regulate the planet — from soil microbiomes and crop genetics to ocean circulation, forests, and the global energy transition. Its AI faculty deliver online programs in environmental systems, food, climate, energy, ocean, and forest sciences, and produce scholarship that connects mechanistic Earth-system understanding with actionable pathways to sustainability.
